Nante Eck - Berlin

Before arriving at the Brandenburg Gate, we find this packed restaurant that we were about to leave behind the unbelievable ill-trained behavior of the waiter (the one in the picture). I've never seen the truth in that tessitura in terms of food, which is what really matters, soup of potatoes, pork, scalope vienes, all very in the rich and abundant German style. the price of about 20 euros per comensal without dessert.

I had only the worst eating of my life, the pork had a heavy smell, they didn't even peel it well

Rather disappointing. The Curry Wurst did not have a curry sauce but something tomatoey, the Wiener Schnitzel tasted rather funny, rather ‘yuk’. But hey, after a long day walking around lovely Berlin we just wanted food, warm food. The guy serving us was running around...trying to keep everybody happy and since it was rather busy, we compliment him on still being very nice and patient while we were debating which food to choose. Anyway, will not visit this place again, I’m afraid

Awful food, meat hard as rock. Unfriendly waiters, expecting the customers to understand german. The worst meal and service ever.

The advertised authentic Berlin restaurant experience comes across as quite touristy in this large establishment, with friendly, but somewhat hurried service by the many waiters. Good food though.
