Excellent quality of food and wine. A somehow private place, personally committed service. And the carbonara is a real one...with pancetta for me a clear indication to distinguish between fake and great ones...

Rather than having... read more Very good place that deserves attention. Pasta is sometimes home-made but always fresh. Small selection of soups, some antipasti and salads. Rather than having the big variety menu, they offer a small selection of classics on the regular menu. But you will want to check...their daily menu with about 6 to 8 main courses, mostly pasta but also fish and meat. I enjoyed pasta with home-made wild fennel pesto and pecorino today. Also go there if you love truffles. Wine is excellent. Service is solid and they are especially nice to kids.

The pizza was decent, but it was difficult to cut the pizza base even with serrated knives. The soft drinks are served in 0.2-liter bottles, which I find a bit too small. We felt comfortable, but there are other restaurants in the area that I like better. At the end, there was a shot of schnapps or liqueur on the house—a lovely tradition.
