Excellent food! Very tasty, good size of portions, not too salty, fresh cooked food. Definitely coming back! Finally I found Russian restaurant in Berlin what I like
Exceptional food and amazing service thank you! Can heartily recommend the shared starter, stuffed cabbage and Ukrainian roast pork and the wine!
Visited it many times and for sure will visit many more, the place is purely focused on quality of meals, not the interior design. Everything is good, but the highlights are 1 Georgian soup khartcho, very few places in Berlin one can get it from; 2 Ukrainian varenyky with mashed potatoes and onions l; 3 all starters with herring 4 Kwas. Although, the beer selection still sucks :P :
Delicious authentic Eastern European food. Great experience, tried a lot of new dishes I've never had before :

Serrrr gutttt. h ch ekstens zu klejn ... (würde der russe in deutsch ... ; small, but very fine! the Russian house cooking in the sense of all selba power, but also: authentic, what Russian or ex USSRs do not have to hide from a star restaurant. in the latter gips the same, best on plates from the zarenschatz ...; that the locals, haups because of its good kitchen, is good, has quickly barely spoken about a day or a time where you can easily find a place. should be called: before and if necessary reserve! only manko: If the Matrjozhka is crispy, it can take a long time, and then the device is not again sooo perfect... still full!

The food was delicious, but the experience itself was on average there was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He did a good job, but in any case should not take care of so many tables alone, which led to some inattentiveness (people at the table... forgot mixed dishes and I only realized that I was overloaded by a few euros after I was at home not a big deal, but annoying).
We visited Matreshka for our anniversary dinner. The service was wonderful and the food was really good. Pelmeni and Vareniki mix, vinaigrette, winter salad, and soljanka enough to make 2 people completely happy. The restaurant also allows to buy pirozhki for takeout amazing things.
First evening in Berlin for dinner with my husband. The food was very cheap and delicious. We have one of the launched samplers for 2, each side of Borscht, and we shared the mixed emptying and filled cabbage plates.... The food was all on the point. Everything was great, the waitress was attentive and warm, and the restaurant was cozy. Also, I highly recommend trying birch juice. It was super refreshing. Would definitely eat again.
Both the food and the service were at an upper level. It is one of these restaurants where you want to go back and you come back the next day:
Reasons to go: 1) Amazing food with reasonable price: my husband and I ordered blinis with beef and blinis with salmon for starters, Gulasch and Paprikaschote for main courses, fresh berry juice and Wostok for drinks. Every single dish is a delight and the total...cost is less than EURO30. 2) Wonderful service: the waiter/manager is friendly and helpful. Unlike some restaurants in Berlin where service is non-existence and waiters tend to teach you how/what to eat, Matreshka has a comfortable and unpretentious vibe. 3) Complementary top-notch vodka: We were offered great quality vodka to go with our meal and cranberry liquor after the meal. The waiter briefed us on the vodka and the liquor. Next time when we are there, we will buy a bottle of each! 這家位於東柏林的俄羅斯餐廳有美味的東歐菜餚,醇香道地的伏特加和甜酒,很舒服的氣氛,以及公道的價格。極力推薦。
