Everything is good, but the highlights are 1 Georgian soup khartcho, very few places in Berlin one can get it from; 2 Ukrainian varenyky with mashed potatoes and onions l; 3 all starters with herring 4 Kwas. Although, the beer selection still sucks :P :

We have one of the launched samplers for 2, each side of Borscht, and we shared the mixed emptying and filled cabbage plates.... The food was all on the point. Everything was great, the waitress was attentive and warm, and the restaurant was cozy. Also, I highly recommend trying birch juice. It was super refreshing. Would definitely eat again.

Every single dish is a delight and the total...cost is less than EURO30. 2) Wonderful service: the waiter/manager is friendly and helpful. Unlike some restaurants in Berlin where service is non-existence and waiters tend to teach you how/what to eat, Matreshka has a comfortable and unpretentious vibe. 3) Complementary top-notch vodka: We were offered great quality vodka to go with our meal and cranberry liquor after the meal.
