Every single dish is a delight and the total cost is less than EURO30. 2) Wonderful service: the waiter/manager is friendly and helpful. Unlike some restaurants in Berlin where "service" is non-existence and waiters tend to teach you how/what to eat, Matreshka has a comfortable and unpretentious vibe. 3) Complementary top-notch vodka: We were offered great quality vodka to go with our meal and cranberry liquor after the meal. Everything was gre... read more We were there for a late lunch. The food was Russian comfort food. Delicious! We had stuffed peppers, stuffed cabbage, and potatoe schnitzel. Everything was great! The service was good, place was very clean. They were very accommodating about gluten free needs. I have a paper printed in German explaining celiac. The waiter carefully read the information and took it into the kitchen before confirming gluten free items on the menu. Three full meals for under 30 euros. Also in a very fun, eclectic area of the city.
