My wife and I had a variety of good cocktails here, and I even had a serving of the best rum I've ever had (Havana Club Maximo from Cuba), one that many say is the best rum in the world. Old, rare, and otherwise exceptional drinks are in good supply here. For Quentin Tarantino lovers, it's also accessible from the library dining room in Inglourious Basterds and in fact a signed canvas hangs on the bar wall. Fantastic place with nice servers. We'll be back!

I can't speak for the restaurant, but we went upstairs to Lebensstern and IT WAS PHENOMENAL! We had AMIT as our bar tender and he was one of the best bar tenders we've ever had, including the U. S. Amit was just a really nice human being, very talkative, polite and genuine. He made some of the best drinks we've ever had (and we've been to many places) and each drink was precision and passion. I highly recommend going to this place when in Berlin. AMIT not only made every drink on the menu so well, but he was also very good at making up drinks on the fly that were even better than some drinks on the menu. If you are into great cocktails and a chill place to hang this is the place to be. Ask for AMIT and you won't be disappointed.

Directly above the Einstein Café (where parts of 'Inglorious Basterds ' were shot), it is a true paradise for lovers of G&T, rum and fine cocktails. The barkeepers are extremely knowledgeable and make sure that you feel at home, putting you in touch with other visitors where appropriate, if you are on your own and also helping you find the right drink to accompany your cigar. The newly opened terrace makes this a place for summer as well as winter.

The bar has great, old fashioned interior, very professional bartenders and extraordinary drinks. It's been little empty as for Saturday night, though the atmosphere was nice. The staff easily engaged with conversation, at the same time not being intrusive. Pretty complete card with classic drinks. Great place, will be back for sure.
