Since the nice lady was alone in the shop and everything was made fresh, it took a while to prepare. We weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us. The sushi wasn't outstanding, but we definitely enjoyed it.

I ordered online, 1... read more When I tried the shop for the first time today...! The good reviews prompted me to try my trusted sushi shop (Charlottenburg through Kimiko. I ordered online, 10-15 minutes later, I entered the shop (completely empty , and the first thing that struck me was the smell of grease or oil. I was greeted warmly and told to wait a bit. Two women I obviously knew were eating, but no sushi ; The woman behind the counter is from Thailand, which is absolutely fine, of course. However, the Japanese master simply does something completely different with sushi. Had I known that beforehand, I would have gladly avoided it today. The sushi wasn 't even close to what I 'm used to. Since it 's a dedicated sushi shop and the prices aren 't significantly cheaper than those of real sushi shops, it was worth a try, but I 'd rather drive a little further to Charlottenburg to eat Japanese sushi. If you don 't have anything else nearby and aren 't as spoiled as I probably am, you can give it a try. However, this isn 't for sushi connoisseurs. The kimchi tasted pretty good, but it was a copy and had nothing to do with Japanese...!!!
