Definitely a visit worth! Most amazing smoked eel. Typical Berlin style casual fine dining atmosphere. Will come back

We will remember our dinner at Julius Ernst with great fondness for years to come! One of the true highlights of this winter.

Really amazing selection of ingredients and calming atmosphere. The kitchen flow seems really positive from what we could see from the outside. The orange wine they had was honestly phenomenal. The precision in their food is really lovely while still staying grounded. Also considering the price of the ingredients and the level of skill behind preparing them, it is very affordable. I don’t recommend coming on a fully empty stomach due to portion sizes, but it’s a great place to go if you want something on the lighter side. Also wouldn’t recommend the coffee as it was over extracted, but everything else was truly excellent

Brunch at Julius is a study in culinary restraint. The tear-shaped omelet arrives set and centered on a white plate, its interior gently yielding, lifted only by a scatter of crushed pepper and salt flakes. The French toast follows the same logic: a caramelized dark crust giving way to a soft, airy center. There’s no excess, only simple precision. Corner windows draw generous daylight into the pared-back interior. Minimalist lines and a hushed atmosphere make a persuasive case for lingering a little longer. It’s the sort of address where design and dining speak the same restrained language.

Julius is overpriced and underwhelming The mushroom risotto had great flavor but came in a portion so tiny it felt more like a tasting sample than a meal. Not really worth the price. The lemon cake was beyond disappointing. Just a burnt, flavorless chunk of bread that should’ve never made it out of the kitchen tbh Service was equally off. The waitress didn’t offer to seat us, so we had to ask. Then, within minutes of getting the menu she came over twice, pushing us to order when we clearly needed more time. It felt rushed and awkward The atmosphere was just as bad,it was giving more hospital cafeteria than cozy dinner spot Overall, Julius tries to be something it’s not. Overpriced food and inconsistent service
