Ionah was recently renovated and is now open again with a beautiful sitting area in the open. we had grilled salmon summer rolls (fantastic! because they had zi... read more Ionah was recently renovated and is now open again with a beautiful sitting area in the open. we had grilled salmon summer rolls (fantastic! because they had zilantro in them and we are beautifully spiced, not slandered with only vermicelli and salat filled,) mixed sushi maki (yes, yes,...not Vietnamese,) which was fresh and tasty and a bowl pho bo, the subtitle reisnudelsuppe by vietnam. the broth was strong and made to house and very tasty, the meat was tender and in nice, whole, thin slices and the vermicelli were well cooked, not too sluggish. the crumbled and swashed in the suppe were crisp and it came with a piece of lime and dried chili on the side no soybean sprouts, mint and basilikum, but that would be my only suggestion for improvement. the waiter was above average friendly. overall, this place is a jewel and a welcome addition to our neighbourship, given the otherwise conservative and culinaryly boring city part schmargendorf.
