İmren Döner has put on a show again; there's no other döner wrap like it! Every week, we stop by either before or after 82Berlin's open mic, enjoy our meal and dessert, and never break our routine.
The three branches of Imren in the Kreuzkölln orbit play to different strengths. Here the highlight is the cinnamon-rich beef döner which tastes of more profound experience than the typical veal found in kebabs elsewhere. The house-made durum is cratered like a Martian landscape and pulls apart like marshmallow. Eating one on the bench outside in the little square we were surrounded suddenly by hundreds of wasps. I threw my kebab in the air and ran away. My then girlfriend, who is now my long suffering partner, told me later that she wondered if I was ever coming back. Some nights I think she still does.

The soup was very good, but the döner did not meet my expectations. It was still delicious. Tea for self-service is available free of charge.
The Imren Grill offers a unique dungeon experience: The meat is super delicate and is served in a generous amount for the 4 €. However, it is tastefully very dominant and the comparatively simple salad cannot stand there. The taste of the meat itself reminds me of Bock. This is also rather unusual. Whoever was in the petting zoo knows what I mean. The staff were very friendly. The exclusive impression of the “restaurant” is underlined by the fact that you only pay when you leave.
The actual self-made meat is crucial. It's not everyone's thing, but it tastes very good
