What Antonia Schütte doesn't like about Imren Grill:
Listed as one of the top Döner places in Berlin I had to go and try them out. It’s not the most beautiful Döner but, boy, it’s b-i-g. However, the meat wasn’t at my liking so this was not the Döner for me. Friendly staff...and good value so I wouldn’t write this place down. Imren do their thing well, but like I said: it was just not for me. View all feedback.

We came with high expectations since we were told it is THE doner in Berlin. Because of that, we wanted to do an extended tasting and sat down. We started with a plain Turkish pizza. Served with a slice of lemon, plus with ground chili...we added, it was the highlight of the evening. Fresh, crispy, and tasty, not to mention that it only costs Pide with kebab meat and mozzarella was not that good. Perhaps because they took a prebaked base, added meat and cheese to it, and then just reheated it. Then came the expected star the doner. Bread was fluffy and crispy at the same time, which was nice. There was not that much meat in it, but the meat was good, as were the sauces. It was good, but nothing that would convert me into a doner enthusiast. We finished with rice pudding which was quite sweet, but when eaten along the complimentary tea, it was a nice end to a cheap for two meal
A bit disappointing. Not that much meat in the sandwich compared to what other places give and the bread was a little dry. Maybe I just got a bad one
I searched on google for a good halal place to eat and this place certainly did Not disappoint. The food was very generous, clean and tasty. The mixed platter was perfect and the Turkish pizza was spot on. Every was full and we even got...a Turkish Tea after. The service was great too. And it was only for people. With drinks
Friendly and helpful staff but not everybody understood in english. High quality doner, worth to visit. FYI red sauces are spicy as hell
