Not only is the food outstanding with very creative recipes but the service/staff is by far one of the warmest/sincere I have experienced. Just as the name states you leave being truly happy! While enjoying our dumpling, the owner came out and visited with us. It was so interesting to learn how she came up with her creative inspiration. In fact, one of the dessert recipes (Emil) was created while on a recent trip to Los Angeles. With peanut sauce on top, cherry filled inside and a sprinkle of coconut it was a perfect ending to our meal. Tip; go with a group, order several dumplings and share.

I was in Berlin for a few days and this place was one of the highest ranked places to eat. Naturally, I had to try it. Really enjoyed everything we got, but I definitely recommend Bärbel and Mathias. We also tried Helene, Uli , Emil ,Sori. Lady working there was also so nice and made it a great experience.
