We had a great evening with the a la carte experience at the restaurant. Ten dishes over three hours with a very attentive and friendly staff. They kept refilling our glasses, there were interesting selections of drinks with the food and it felt very generous. The food had so many unexpected and inspiring flavours. A clear recommendation!

Right from the moment we walked in it seemed like we were an inconvenience. There were no free tables so we were told to wait but no name taken down so we were required to keep an eye out for when we were next. While waiting, we noticed that the chef kept telling people to wait outside in the line (people loosely gathered outside of the door). By the time we had a table there was another lady working and after ordering coffees, which took about 15-20mins, we were told the food would be out soon, which it was. The cheese omelette was good and French Toast very good. By the time we left (just after noon) there were 3-4 other employees working. For the same price I can go elsewhere for better service and food. TL:DR: lack of staff and communication led to a below average experience. Communication and organization would already go a long way to improvement.

I visited the cafe during daytime for the first time last weekend. I love, love, love the design of the place. We sat at the bar and it's so great to see the staff preparing all the food with so much attention to details. However, we were a bit disappointed about granola bowl. For 9€ we got a tiny bowl with two spoons of simple joghurt, a drop of jam and a relatively plain granola. For the price, I expected at least more interesting flavors or textures, more interesting combo of ingredients or, if you keep it that simple, a bigger portion that actually fills you up. For two bowls of granola, a filter coffee and flat white with oat milk we paid 30€ which was a bit too much for what we got (also in terms of service).

Basically tasty but ridiculous value for money. €14 for an omelette without salad and then €6 for some bread. 13€ for a single French toast? Other than that it would have been a good experience. The coffee was good at least.

A fun evening with a creative tasting menu. The courses were not entirely as expected since the website only hints about what might be expected. I guess we should have known that the courses would be Japanese inspired farm to table bites.

An experience that proves haters of fine dining have a point. Tables are tightly squeezed together in the restaurant. Menu is extremely limited. Prices are massively inflated €28 for one slice of celeriac on homemade ketchup? . Staff didn’t understand their own concept they offer wine pairing without mentioning the wines on the menu, stating the waiter will let you know. When asked about it, the waiter was visibly confused. To add insult to injury, the tiny portions seemed to not include seasoning. Perhaps that’s at an extra cost. The chef clearly has an aversion to salt and good food.

Julius is overpriced and underwhelming The mushroom risotto had great flavor but came in a portion so tiny it felt more like a tasting sample than a meal. Not really worth the price. The lemon cake was beyond disappointing. Just a burnt, flavorless chunk of bread that should’ve never made it out of the kitchen tbh Service was equally off. The waitress didn’t offer to seat us, so we had to ask. Then, within minutes of getting the menu she came over twice, pushing us to order when we clearly needed more time. It felt rushed and awkward The atmosphere was just as bad,it was giving more hospital cafeteria than cozy dinner spot Overall, Julius tries to be something it’s not. Overpriced food and inconsistent service

Definitely a visit worth! Most amazing smoked eel. Typical Berlin style casual fine dining atmosphere. Will come back

Really amazing selection of ingredients and calming atmosphere. The kitchen flow seems really positive from what we could see from the outside. The orange wine they had was honestly phenomenal. The precision in their food is really lovely while still staying grounded. Also considering the price of the ingredients and the level of skill behind preparing them, it is very affordable. I don’t recommend coming on a fully empty stomach due to portion sizes, but it’s a great place to go if you want something on the lighter side. Also wouldn’t recommend the coffee as it was over extracted, but everything else was truly excellent

A unique experience, only 12-13 seats, everything is prepared while you’re watching. It looks as if they perform a symphony, with extremely fresh ingredients, combined with traditional techniques, resulting in an explosion of flavors.

This is probably the beat restaurant I’ve been to (Better than Noma 2.0, Amass, Māos, Ikoyi, EMP). Japanese influenced. 12 seats around the bar. 44 courses. Smart and minimalistic. Amazing!

Super tasty and an experience to see the guys cook all night. Unfortunately, the star became quite expensive...

One of the best tasting menu dinners and experiences we’ve ever had. Super interesting meal Right now it has a very strong Japanese influence. Our dinner had 44 small courses and it was 3.5 hours long. They work closely with local farmers and producers and the menu is based on what’s available at the moment so the menu changes almost daily. The chefs are super nice and attentive and it really made the experience that much more special. I am not really a person of ratings and lists but I bet that next year they’ll be much higher on The world’s 50 best list.
