I was anticipating my visit to Dottir for a while, and on Saturday I finally made it there! And it was seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. The first thing I noticed was the interior - simple, minimalistic, but charming in that unique Scandinavian way. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, who explained the menu to us and was extremely nice and professional throughout the evening. The set menu was perfect for us seafood lovers - every dish was an aesthetic and gastronomic masterpiece. Even the warm bread served with melted butter was delicious and irresistible! The starter was a trout tartare with a rye crisp and some mustard sauce. And I was taken aback by the second dish - 3 types of cauliflower with caviar. It's impossible to describe the bouquet of flavours! Cod fish with greens was the next dish, and it was great too. But the dessert was the best part of the evening: outstanding blueberry sorbet with skyr and fresh berries.The portions are small, and that's really nice.Yes, Dottir isn't cheap, but the pleasure is worth every euro. We're surely coming back next time we're in Berlin!
This restaurant is quintessentially "Berlin". Every evening there is only one menu but the food is prepared deliciously and the recipes are quite imaginative. The Decour is minimalist but quite frankly. Service was excellent and the wine list more than sufficient. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would recommend to others.
One of the best restaurants I have come to. Food and wine with every dish :-) Received information about each dish from the chef. :-). Original and unfamiliar environment. Good and warm reception of staff. Above all, comfortable music. Not too loudly played. We could talk over the food. Thanks for me. I'll be back :-)
Tasty but pricey. Spent 75 eur a person with one main each and a starter to share and some drinks. We left hungry... Slightly weird setting. Cool interior but feels like a lobby. Mains are tiny, order sides.
