Beautiful Location, and Diana was a dream! Food was wonderful. And if Rheydt are ging to me open and talkable, it World be the perfekt Placebo!
Tasty but pricey. Spent 75 eur a person with one main each and a starter to share and some drinks. We left hungry... Slightly weird setting. Cool interior but feels like a lobby. Mains are tiny, order sides.
The Dóttir is a beautiful restaurant, food and wine were very good and the service was charming and fun. We‘ve been there on a Sunday for lunch and we‘ll be back for sure to check out the dinner menu atmosphere. One thing though: please get your opening hours information sorted out. On Google Maps it says you’re open from 12h on a Sunday. On your website it‘s from 14h. On OpenTable it lets one reserve ANYTIME on a Sunday but says in the description you‘re not open on Sundays at all. I even called the day before to make sure you’re open and the person on the phone did not know because she „only works in the evenings“?!? Come on, really?
Inattentive and uncoordinated service: our starters and our main courses came at the same time so our table was full with plates and we were confused where to start. Our tea at the end of the dinner did not come, we waited for half and hour and then just asked for the check. Our is four dishes just one was exceptional, the others like the veggie burger, fries potatoes and gnocchi were below overage and not worth the money. The serving lady apologised several times for things that went wrong…well, the place that wants to play at the top of Berlins food scene should have the service and the food that lives up to this ambition. The restaurant and the hotel are very beautiful, great design, furniture etc.

I was anticipating my visit to Dottir for a while, and on Saturday I finally made it there! And it was seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. The first thing I noticed was the interior - simple, minimalistic, but charming in that unique Scandinavian way. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, who explained the menu to us and was extremely nice and professional throughout the evening. The set menu was perfect for us seafood lovers - every dish was an aesthetic and gastronomic masterpiece. Even the warm bread served with melted butter was delicious and irresistible! The starter was a trout tartare with a rye crisp and some mustard sauce. And I was taken aback by the second dish - 3 types of cauliflower with caviar. It's impossible to describe the bouquet of flavours! Cod fish with greens was the next dish, and it was great too. But the dessert was the best part of the evening: outstanding blueberry sorbet with skyr and fresh berries. The portions are small, and that's really nice.Yes, Dottir isn't cheap, but the pleasure is worth every euro. We're surely coming back next time we're in Berlin!
This little gem is about to close! There is nothing to choose but the drinks since there is only one menu, which is wonderfully refreshing. Lots of fresh fish and seafood in interesting, tasteful combinations. Beauty and taste lie in the simplicity. Go and try it as long as you still can.
Herausragende Küche, tolles Ambiente, sehr guter Service.
Lauwarme Makrele Mit Liebstöckel-Mayo, Rotbarsch niedrigtemperaturgegart. Weinkarte lässt keine Wünsche offen, sehr guter Sommelier. Service 1a, Preis Menü 58 Euro, kein a la carte Mgl. Reservierung notwendig.
