Was Stephen P at Db Lounge Berlin Hbf a mag?
As train station lounges go, this was pretty good, particularly if you have access to the first class lounge-within-a-lounge. I arrived with a bit of time before my train, so I enjoyed a beer, small sandwich, coffee, and cake, all offered by very friendly and attentive staff. The seating was comfortable and the restroom clean. View all feedback.

I was expecting a little more...had my first class ticket and had to go through two sets of clearance. 1) at the entrance, and 2) at the first class area. There were waitresses who did serve you food and drinks but they seemed distracted and slow. The lounge was extremely crowded, also. At one point I was extremely tempted to just go to the regular lounge area to get a water instead...

We have 1st class tickets and were refused admittance because we had a flex pass. We were able to get admittance in all other lounges through Germany. very rude.

I had a first class ticket for my train to Munich since I had a little time (after my ticket printing confusion) before the platform info would even come up on the board. The lounge is clean and there are coffee/espresso and soda options. The nice lady only offered me a croissant to eat (it was still around 930am) and I guess that's it in terms of food. Kinda sad considering you don't get food with your first class ticket unlike on Virgin Trains in the U.K. The ladies at the desk checking in could care less. They were too busy chit chatting to themselves. There were a lot of seats and side tables available but when I got there the lounge was about half full. I can see how this place will fill up quickly considering it's the central train station in Berlin. At least it's better than the airport. Half the monitors don't work that are supposed to show you the platform information. Luckily I'm just sitting in here until the platform info comes up for my train and a hot chocolate.

We walked in at 8.30pm after a long day in meetings to find a drunken guy being aggressive to the poor woman behind the desk. So we just sailed in. The seats are pretty uncomfortable and the staff are not very helpful or friendly. However if it's freezing or boiling outside it's as good a place as any to wait for your train. Also has loos and snacks.
