The restaurant is located quite close to Berlin Spandau train station and Spandau Rathouse U bahn station, literally in 2 minutes walk from Spandau Market square, in a nice old building. Interior is like old style restaurant with the wooden floors and carpets on them, white runners and candles on the tables, waiters welcoming and knowing! every guest. Menu is veeeery long and offers wide choice of Balkan and international German food. We have tried lobster soup, Croatian sausages, fish, omelette, steak, ice cream food is quite simple, but everything very very tasty, it's how your mom would cook it (assuming she was a good cook ; . The choice of wines is short, we've tried 3 again very good ones and even sophisticated. Prices are quite reasonable, we have easily fit under 35 euro for main dish wine for two people, and we were full. Menu was in German only, so you need a smartphone with internet. Service is fast and very friendly. If you are staying in Spandau or around, it's definetely a go to place, if not it's worth going to Spandau for a walk by the river and a dinner here.

So we opted for this little... read more After walking around the picturesque Altstadt of Spandau. We wanted somewhere to eat, something other than Asian, Turkish or Pizza. So we opted for this little gem nestled on the corner of Moritzstraße. We walked in and it was so busy. We were the youngest people in the building other than the barman. We were asked to wait 5-10 minutes for a table. They kept their promise and a table was set up for us. You do have to have some knowledge of Croatian cuisine to know what you are ordering. I had the lamb fillet and my partner had the Cevapcici- a very delicious sausage like dish. There was a choice of lamb, beef or pork. Our aged waiter was very pleasant and his mannerism match the decor of this lovely little restaurant. It was like taking a step back in time when people had proper eating etiquette and general manners. We met this little old lady who told us all the places we should go and see. She is a regular and recommended we take the free Schnapps offer after paying the bill. We had no idea what it was, however.... it was good!
