Edit: The owner's respo... read more I have no idea what the food tastes like here, since we weren't served. Completely ignored, probably because of our ethnicity. Shameful. Edit: The owner's response clarifies why the treatment at this restaurant felt so exclusionary and unwelcoming from the start. His immediate reaction confirms my feeling of discrimination, almost as if he knew exactly what I was getting at. As is so often the case with discrimination, gaslighting also occurred immediately when the owner called me childish and implied that I was mentally ill. This entire behavior only reinforces the impression of xenophobia and discrimination.
