Chao had a good s... read more We had a great experience at Chao after discovering that the restaurant we were actually headed to (which was next door) was under renovation. Chao had a good selection of Vietnamese dishes to a very affordable price , and is definitely a place a student...like myself would visit again to get a nice dinner on a low budget. They also had very exiting deserts, like mochi and black rice with yogurt, which was a nice change from your average vanilla ice cream. Despite some mess ups with our order (which the waiter was very honestly apologetic about) I would definitely return!

The place is decorated very nicely and gives you a Vietnamese feeling. The people are very friendly, and food comes to the table very quickly. We have been...going to Chao every time we are in the area, and the food has never disappointed us. Everything is fresh and very tasty. I love the Chicken Curry Rice dish!

The beef was dry, the broth wasn't tasty, there were no onions, spring onions, mint or other vegetables in the soup, and...no chili or lime was served as topping. Disappointing.
