Everytime we wanted something we needed to go inside the café to look for the waiter. The food as such was alright but also not breath-taking. The waiter situation made us stay way too long in that place and at the end I started to be quite annoyed by it. Still - food was ok - just need to work on their customers service!

The service was friendly and the setting very chilled, which is just what you want on a Sunday morning. The food - cooked and cured meats, cheeses, salads, hot options (sausages, egg and pancakes) plus the incredible yogurt - was excellent.

I was offered an En... read more I visited Café Rix on the recommendation of a friend and had a really good experience.The waiter was super friendly and spoke great English. I was offered an English menu, although I can't say how good it was as I opted to struggle through with the German one. The atmosphere in the bar was very chilled and I did not feel awkward as a solo diner.I had the Wiener Schnitzel with chips. The food was really nice and the portion size was enormous! My meal came with bread and a generous dressed side salad. I'd say the food here is definitely good value for money. I'd certainly come back if the opportunity arose.

After travelling since 11pm the night before, a breakfast visit here was welcomed! Their brunch is as excellent as the reviews same and the ambience very impressive, the decor and little courtyard outside is super neat. Definitely worth a visit if in the Neukolln area :)
