Also an excellent Matcha Latte. Friendly, English-speaking staff. Unpretentious. Big, comfy space, with couches, Wi-Fi and the like. Good for hanging out or working. The best chocolate chip cookies in Berlin.

I was flying after I had t... read more Popped back in today for a chat and a bit of working amongst the living. Flat white: Very nice. French Press: this is where it 's AT! I was flying after I had the Ethiopian FP. FLYING. Banana Bread: lovely. As a note, they don 't really serve their breakfast foods until around 10am when backup reinforcement staff arrives. Fair enough, I settled on the banana bread and was quite happy with it...very moist and filling, a generous hunk. The wifi is free and fairly reliable and there is a lot of room in the side front room and back to sit down comfortably on a couch. Not any desk/table setups (more lounging), but if you can adequately work from your lap you 'll be AOK. The same girl has waited on me twice, and while not overly friendly...is very efficient and manages to pull off visible brasseire in a way that looks not only intentional, but stylish. I approve. Just became my favorite coffee spot in Prenzlauer Berg, especially after I spied the apt looking fruhstuck plates as I departed. Next time...I start later (930am) with a rocket powered French Press, followed by the breakfast plate at 10am. This may be the recipe for a fabulous day, every day. Winner, winner.

I came here based on other reviews and proximity to my new apartment and I have to say the cappuccino is phenomenal. Not only is it balanced perfectly, it took my jet lag, kick-punched it in the gut, and firmly said, Jet Lag, you are no longer welcome here. Take your sorry ass back to your old time zone. Honestly, first class stuff for any coffee lover. Also great wifi connection and comfortable atmosphere I could hole up here for hours.

First of all; veryyyy reasonable price for the bread, we got served a pretty big slice and it was only 2.20€ It was tasty, a little too soft for my taste, I like my crunchy crust but that's just a matter of personal preference. Walnuts added some texture and the hint of cinnamon complimented the banana nicely. Although the bread was good and my friend loves their coffee the seating area isn't that nice...the furniture looks super cheap (our table was falling apart)

I like the clever decor, lamp shades made of coffee filters and other clever things. The place invites for a comfortable sit down experience, but the size of the coffee in relation to its price, is definitely not so comfortable for the wallet. Now, I hear that their filtered regular coffee is great. But for that price?? No thanks! I had an Americano and it was good but I rather enjoy the whole package, where prices are more reasonable. But it is still getting three stars for the comfortable ambiance, great staff and good coffee. I hear there is a second location that I will have to go try!
