AVOID!!!!!! They charge 50 cents per toilet visit, even for paying customers. This is illegal. Under § 4 of the Berliner Gaststättenverordnung, bars and restaurants are required to provide free toilet access to their guests. The Kammergericht Berlin confirmed this in a ruling dated 08.09.2025 (Az. 5 UKl 15/25). The Verbraucherzentrale Berlin’s advice is clear: refuse and cite the Gaststättenverordnung. On top of that, when we brought in a falafel from outside, staff rudely told us we couldn’t eat her. Absolutely fair enough if that’s their policy, but the way it was communicated was unnecessary and unpleasant. Treat your customers with basic respect. We won’t be back.
Always a vibe. Great music. Awesome ambiance. But the guys at the counter looked exhausted (pissed). Love the crowd though. Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
We came on a Sunday afternoon. The place is visually appealing with a very “Berlin” aesthetic, which we initially found charming. However, the service and overall experience were quite disappointing. We ordered Aperol Spritz, and they were barely half full—not what you’d expect considering the price. On top of that, they only accept cash. While I understand this is still common in Berlin, it feels outdated and inconvenient. The worst part was trying to use the restroom. A rather unpleasant man demanded money to let me in. Honestly, I find it unacceptable that a place charging premium prices for drinks would also ask you to pay every time you need to use the toilet. Overall, it’s a shame. There are much better bars in the area with friendlier service and more up-to-date policies Price per person: €10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
