Dishes are heavily overpriced, you get small portions, my lambspoke was as tough as a shoe sol, and what should be in Indian food did not light us up, they had... read more Dishes are heavily overpriced, you get small portions, my lambspoke was as tough as a shoe sol, and what should be in Indian food did not light us up, they had more Afghan Persian impact, but at low level with tendency to snack. The coronation was the salad as an appetizer: super exotic sounding name for some leaves Romana salad with Balsamico dressing and four strips of red paprika, on top a small slice of the cheapest white cheese, which is used at most for a Börek filling, but certainly not as an ingredient for an Indian salad. The only light view was the well-mixed Gin Tonic of my wife, perhaps still the beautiful decor on the walls for it was not worth our visit for about 65 euros.

In part, the price... read more I had read many good restaurant critiques and was so excited about the Buddha Republic. Well, the food was ok; but I had eaten better Indian. In part, the price-performance ratio of the food of the beverages did not seem appropriate to me. I liked the ambience. If you want to go Indian and just be near the Buddha Republic, you can't really do something wrong. I wouldn't take a long way to eat there.
