Located a little off the beaten track, but well worth the ride.

A Michelin one-star, it's as good as most of the two or three star places in Paris, and with a welcome accent on German food, sourcing and wines. The room itself is worth the visit, with its fanciful...nineteenth century stucco imagery, but after being dazzled by the decor you'll be even more delighted by the food. Beautifully balanced sweet and savory flavors, as in the duck breast with dried cherries or the pumpkin soup with turmeric, and a surprising touch of spice-heat. Warm service, perfect place for deep conversation ...only a twenty-minute trip if you're staying in East Berlin, and, as they say, worth the voyage.

We had three courses and enjoyed every one especially the cod fish main course and the dessert. I can’t do justice to a description except to say “alive with flavour “ We were also brought...a series of amuse bouche each very different and full of flavours. A good selection of wine and staff who were attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended.

The cuisine is creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. You can tell that they work with passion and precision. The service was also warm and attentive. Overall, a very successful experience.
