Our visit to Bieberbau was for a birthday celebration. The decor with original stucco preserved, ambient lighting, wooden panelling, pictures and fine furnishings were the first things to impress. Anne, front-of-house, and wife of Stephan, the chef, welcomed us and throughout our visit, along...with the other table attendant staff, was friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was impeccably prepared and presented, providing some original uses of ingredients often grown in Bieberbau’s own herb gardens. Between courses, little additional delights were brought for us to enjoy. The hyssop pre-dessert ice cream was wonderful! My duck liver mousse starter and halibut main were perfectly prepared and presented. Overall this was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I would thoroughly recommend Bieberbau to anyone visiting Berlin. Sincere thanks to Anne, Stephan and their team!

Must visit when in Berlin. Well deserved Michelin star. Design and ambiance of restaurant is very good. Food was top notch. Wine selection also very good. Located a little off the beaten track, but well worth the ride.
