Neukölln is full of magical little places and this restaurant bar is one of the small pearls they can meet there. guided by an Italian couple, the reception is warm, the wine well and the dishes delicious and prepared with love and care. only to share with those who have earned it! We were a lot of paint in this restaurant babbo bar and each time we have eaten well. it is not hip in comparison to other Italians in brand new, but for that they cook very authentic. 3 course menu (appetizer, pasta and main dish) costs 25 euro. Fantastic! We'll be happy to come back.
The babbo bar is at a distance the best of several excellent Italian restaurants in Neukölln. this cooking quality would give them a fortune in london or new york!
The babbo bar is a perfect Italian restaurant in the neighbourhood. the owner/cook and his wife make sure they feel like home. eating always begins with a seasonal amuse bouche and often ends with a glass grappa at the expense of the house. In between, they can expect some of the best Italian foods they ever had. even the simplest dishes are perfect, but the saltimbocca is not from this world (they can hear how the cook knocks the calf on order for each dish.)
Go to the babbo bar at giacinto and his wife is an experience for the palate: the menu varies from day to day easily and ranges from a delicious cheese and wine selection from italia to self-made pastage with fresh ingredients and original recipes. I had once fatuccelle with gamberoni e pomodorini and the gamberoni were large, fresh and very tasty - with a distance the best I had eaten in Germany. also the brot served is self-made. the atmosphere is very pleasant and quiet, the service class - the hostes can always be a great amuse handle for welcome. for the quality of the products, prices are really more than fair.
It is just right: fresh and tasty prepared. whether homemade pasta, gorgeous desserts, good wine selection and pleasant intrusive service, the discreet atmosphere. giacinto D ́Ambrosi is with leib and soul chef, this passion is noticeable and without chichi. wonderful and absolutely recommended.
