The place is... read more When I moved to Berlin a couple year's ago, we used to be here more often. Recently I haven't been there at all, but last night was the exception. The place is alright, I am not so sure why we used to go there so often. It's one of those bar places in Simon-Dach-Strasse, nothing too fancy. Beer is alright and the drinks are cheap (even though they get cheaper a few streets from there). During the summer you can chill outside. The waitress was pretty cheeky, maybe a reason to go back some time.

Very good for a p... read more I was at the Astro Bar last night until 6:00 in the morning and had a great time. Cool bar with good music and cheap beer. Very hip and retro. Very good for a pub tour in Friedrichshain. The DJ records real records (old school). The bar also has very spaet. I am a German-speaking American, but I didn't think the bar was going over with tourists as the previous rating meant. I definitely go back.

Enjoyed the atmosphere but it was quieter coming off of a Sunday evening. Good beers, better cocktails.
