We went there by accident because other place where we were heading was closed and we returned the following day; sushi was very tasty yet not over-complicated, very good prices, the place was clean and staff very helpful; i hope to come again during another trip to Berlin

I really wanted to try this place because I live pretty close. I ordered the duck noodles and some summer rolls and my friend ordered the papaya salad. Summer rolls were ok but a lot of noodles and not a lot of herbs or tofu. (The waitress had given us tofu rolls instead of the chicken ones I asked for). Duck noodles was okay, pretty tasty, but a little skimpy on the ingredients (ie I love a bit more leek, bean sprouts, chinese vegetables, etc.). It was pretty basic - really just Duck and Noodles and not much of anything else. The papaya salad was also pretty disappointing. 4 little leaves of mint, a load of iceberg lettuce. It was heavily pickled. 5 slices of boiled chicken. Sorry, it was totally uninspiring. I also saw the waitress come out and ask about orders again, which does not garner confidence. There are better vietnamese closer to Shönhauser Allee, I suggest people walk north if they are after Vietnamese food.

I can honestly say that I have never eaten anywhere in Europe for such a good price/quality combination. Main courses - roasted duck in coconut cream sauce, deliciously crispy meat, sauce subtly sweet on the palate - for only E 4,90! I could hardly believe it. Servings of sake (rice wine from a decorative handmade bottle with small cups) were only E 2,50 each. Good, friendly and quick service. Real Vietnamese people, not per se fluent in German or English, but communication possibilities were definitely good enough. The restaurant doesn't look spectacularly good from the outside, but a lot better on the inside than most Asiatic eateries. It really has the feel of a restaurant; you could take someone out for a meal there. For the same food & service, I would pay 2,5 to 3 times as much in Amsterdam, where I live. I told the woman owner to please start up a business there as well! She thought this was very funny, I heard her repeat it in the kitchen.
