Ihop - Berlin

After 30 minutes of waiting outside, we were never able to get a table. Actually, no one was seated while we were there. The restaurant was quite empty and a few families walked out saying the wait on the inside was long too after placing orders. They may do better if they were fully staffed but we'll never know. Berlin MD, you must do better. It would've been better if you just closed doors until you're fully staffed.

Worst ihop I have visited. Ordered 3 plates 1 of the 3 was completely wrong, the food was cold and soggy. When I told the waitress about the sandwich there was another customer passing by saying she did not like the sandwich and that it did not taste or look like the picture. The waitress then proceeded to say it was the sandwich that I had ordered when it wasn’t. The offered to give me another plate, they gave me a menu and after deciding what I wanted I waited 25 minutes until they decided to come and take my order. My husband had already finished his food so I deciding not to order anything else because it would’ve taken another 30 minutes. I had to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes just to get my check and pay. I never knew who my actual waiter was it seemed as if they were all jumping table to table. They need to do better. The service was unacceptable

I use to work for Dennys in Pennsylvania so I worked in the industry and know what was going on this store was way unacceptable, waitress was good but working in every part of the restaurant taking order she couldn't wait on us properly and the party of 12. We had our grandson with they order milkshakes was told had no ice cream so they had to get chocolate milk, but got their food before the drinks, but in the mean time the lady that was at the front that sat us was not helping our server at all but we found out her daughter works there and she was helping her, this place is not managed at all and the lady at the front door ducks at her job I will go to another IHOP again, and please tell me how sorry you are I read all the reviews if IHOP was sorry they would have fixed it when they received the first review. And I will not be forwarding and information to your company so don't ask. What I will be doing is placing this review and the address on ever social media and also telling people how horrible this IHOP is, fix or your company will keep getting bad reviews nobody will come there and you all will be out of a job. Have a horrible day Thsnk You for the eye opening experience

Haven't been to IHOP in years, and after experience here, immediately remembered why.Long wait times for seating, long wait times for taking drink order, and of course, long wait times for taking food order (judging relative to experiences in other similar establishments).Staff seemed over worked and miserable. The place was definitely understaffed, for the amount of customers that were there at the time.The only thing they got going is ridiculously low prices for decently tasting good, that might be a major reason so many people still keep coming.

I’m not sure what’s happened but this place has gone down hill in the past year or two. It is soooo unclean. You can smell a sour smell throughout (due to the fruit/whip cream/dishwasher). I used to work in the business and know for a fact that smell is coming from unclean dish area. The amount of flies, and fruit flies in the dinning room means there is easily double in the back. I did not see one person actually cleaning. The last time we were there the waitresses hands were unbelievably dirty and black. This time our server did attempt to keep herself clean which I appreciate but considering the rest of the place is disgusting I know that’s impossible for her to do. Finally, the bathrooms— you can tell a lot from a bathroom. If the bathroom in a restaurant is dirty imagine the kitchen. I think Corp needs to step it to bring this back up to sop especially with cleanliness of staff and store. I thought the last time I went in to the restaurant it was a fluke but I now know someone just doesn’t make their employees clean (maybe Corp since many places state that their servers no longer can clean or do side work outside of their normal work this is causing many restaurants to become unclean) either way someone needs to fix it asap! I do want to include that I understand the summers have higher sales and there is less time for extras but maybe they can try doing extra cleaning at night shift when it’s less busy. Hope you guys can turn this around because my kids love the hash browns
