I was extremely impressed! I happened to stop by while really hungry, checked out the menu, and ended up pleasantly surprised! The soup of the day was Clam Chowder, which was fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the smoked salmon oil that accompanied the breakfast buffet potatoes. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and the customer service was excellent! View all feedback.

5 customers here. All at the bar. I sat down. After 6 minutes I was greeted. had to ask for a menu. then just decided to get a beer. 5 minutes later, still no service. I got up to ask a waiter if I sat in the dining room would I get served faster? he said no but offered to get my beer for me. then a bar tender came over. The food is excellent—hats off to the chef! However, the service was a bit slow, and we found ourselves having to call them to our table multiple times. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5 out of 5.
I visited primarily for the jazz music, which was excellent. The setup felt somewhat secondary, so I hope the owners consider a better layout in the future. The food was very good, and the portions were sufficient. Food rating: 4/5.
A vegetarian friend chose this restaurant, which may have influenced our visit. The indoor-outdoor dining arrangement is nice for lunch, although we were bothered by flies and other insects. The crab salad sandwich was average at best. Our order was incorrect, but they fixed it promptly. However, the hostess insisted our friend didn’t have a reservation even after seating two of us, and she wouldn’t allow her to check inside for us. Overall, it was just a decent experience, and I probably won’t be returning.
