Zing Cafe
Description
**Zing Café: A Mixed Bag of Flavor and Frustration**
Nestled near Ashby BART station, Zing Café boasts a charming outdoor patio and a menu filled with enticing sandwiches and energizing coffees. Customers rave about the flavor-packed offerings, particularly the turkey pesto sandwich and freshly prepared salads. However, the café struggles with long wait times, often leaving patrons exasperated. While many appreciate the friendly service and cozy atmosphere, the understaffing issue has led to some customers feeling undervalued. For those who can be patient, Zing Café serves delicious fare that makes the wait worthwhile—just remember to order ahead if you're on a tight schedule.

$3.50 for a single espresso? I asked why the single costs $3.50 when their price list shows the double espresso for $3.25. The answer I got was, "it's the kelch." So apparently, their price list is only accurate when customers drink the beverages on-site. I've had enough of how California companies exploit the environmentally conscious badge—it just seems like a ploy to make more money. It's honestly absurd!
Stopped for an espresso and was served a double. Probably they largest double espresso I have ever had. Good coffee
The seating outdoors is lovely. My turkey and cheese croissant with a touch of sweetness was delicious and larger than I expected. The service was excellent!
