Was Bettye Moore at Townie a mag?
Cocktails were uninteresting and the food was utterly uninspired. Each dish felt like it was assembled from ingredients meant to impress but didn't amount to anything special. The main course of chicken, polenta, and spinach wasn't a single notch above average home cooking. Disappointing View all feedback.
What Secondo Montanari dislikes about Townie:
It was a birthday celebration and I was a bit disappointed that a comp dessert was not sprung on the table? Even if the table said No to ordering dessert, its a good practice to send a treat just for everyone to take a bite. Overall, good place and will definitely try the brunch!!! View all feedback.

had to wait over 30 minutes just to place our orders. The waitstaff seemed disorganized and inattentive, making the dining experience frustrating. Despite the pleasant atmosphere, the slow service definitely put a damper on our overall experience.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. Although it wasn't excellent, everything was very good. We dined here before a show and I would definitely come back again.
Our dining experience at Townie was extremely underwhelming. Although most of our dishes were satisfactory, one item was completely different from what was listed on the menu and did not improve much even after being sent back to the kitchen. The service was also lacking, with multiple staff members approaching our table to take our order. Our primary waiter seemed overwhelmed and distracted throughout the meal, forgetting items and appearing to wander aimlessly around the restaurant instead of attending to our table and others he was serving. Overall, we were very disappointed and have no desire to return to this establishment.
Great food, but fell into this black hole of service. The waitress took so long to get our order and never checked us. The menu items ran out, not the server's fault, but she kept asking for refills, and she didn't even consider whether we wanted a dessert.
Our family of 6 had a really fabulous dinner because we were lucky enough to have the private room. It was the perfect place for the last night of our vacation. We come back every year and don't eat dinner until the last evening of our trip at Tucci Benucch. It has become a family tradition. We love the breadsticks with delicious olive oil, the wine prices are reasonable and there are Italian wines on the list. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Our server was really great too!
