Delicious food, my friends! The service was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend trying the kebab plates. I was very pleased with the flavors and the portion size. I will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Kebabery:
Pretty pricey for the amount of kebab you get. Unfortunately fancy dinner prices so hard to make this a regular place. Nice flavors but wondering if they will stay in business, seemed way too quiet, not sure prices are helping that. View all feedback.
They can't make the food healthier when they try it! very tasty, fresh, healthy. everything we had was super good. kudos to them for a veggie kebab! also the riders here are amazing, the season is heavenly. Salads are all well maintained, that means the most digestible salad! Even the flat brot used in sandwich is amazing.
First time experience here clean friendly food was so fresh you could taste the flavor presentation of food perfect for the area on busy street parking a little challenging but worth it
Really good! Had the lamb kebab with wrap. Delicious. Will definitely go again. It was a little warm, and if driving, parking would be a bit of an issue. BUT! If you can look past things like that the food is just the best.
I’ve been waiting and waiting to try the Kebabery in Berkeley.. right before the COVID-19 shut down it was supposed to open and then COVID-19 happened and it was delayed a long time. Today I decided to stop in and pick up a couple of orders to go so we can eat at home. I ordered the lamb kebab and the king trumpet mushroom kebab. Each order came with a grilled flatbread and two side salads and herbed yogurt. When I opened up the paper clam shell at home, I found that the flatbread was packed in with the other food, and the heat and moisture made the grilled flatbread very limp and it lost any crunch it might’ve had before. Nobody wants wet bread. Fortunately we have an air fryer so we were able to bring it back to its former glory. The lamb was good, flavored nicely. The portion was very small though. The king trumpet mushrooms were delicious but they were missing the bell of the mushroom. It was only five tiny little stems on a kebab stick and that was it. I was quite frankly shocked how little food it was for $18. It was definitely not a king, it was a pauper. The herbed yogurt was literally less than a tablespoon, which is not enough to even taste it much less smear it on the lamb. Finally, I like pickled vegetables but these weren’t pickled all the way. The carrots were ginormous slices and very raw in the center. It’s almost as if they were learning how to pickle, and they didn’t finish the entire pickling process. I like raw carrots, but that’s not what I expect when I order pickled vegetables. Everything I did eat was tasty, but after spending almost $40, I think it’s reasonable to expect to feel full or at least satisfied. I feel like I need to have a bowl of cereal. You guys can do much much better. My sincere wish is that this review is helpful in making it a better customer experience and product. My suggestions for the restaurant to improve are the following: 1. Pack the flatbread in an insulated foil pouch separate from the main dish so it stays warm and crispy in the travel process. 2. Pack the yogurt in an individual small container, and provide enough yogurt, at least two or three times as much. 3. Learn how to pickle vegetables, and cut them into smaller pieces. 4. Get rid of the mushroom kebab completely because it was quite frankly zero food. 5. Double the size of the lamb kebab, Or provide two of them.
Chicken kebab was VERY tasty though not a ton of meat for $17. The salads were solid and very generous.
