Initially, when I wrote this I was going to give 4-stars based on the food and service alone, but I was really blown away with the quality and care put into this unassuming shop on the corner. This restaurant is a hidden gem! The sisters who run the place are amazing chefs, hosts, and people. The salads are delicious, the sandwiches are fantastic, and the smoothies are incredibly fresh. I'm about to order the roasted pork sandwich with a smoothie. Enjoy!
I found the Grilled Chicken Bowl to be exactly what I was looking for: warm, simple, high in protein, and tasty. The mix of textures was great. The Califas juice was a well-balanced blend with just the right amount of ginger kick. I would definitely order both items again and look forward to trying more on the menu!

I love this place, and I am always amazed at how good the food is. And every time I eat here I kick myself for not eating here more often. I suspect it’s only because it is out of the way from my usual travel. Their garlic fries are perfect, and I have never cared for fried plantains until eating here.
