Menu

Tasty Express offers a mixed dining experience that strikes a chord with some customers while leaving others disappointed. Though some dishes, like the Mongolian beef and chow mein, have earned praise for their flavor and freshness, others have been criticized for their lack of taste and subpar quality. The restaurant positions itself as a quick and affordable option, reminiscent of popular takeout chains, appealing mainly to those seeking convenience. However, service inconsistencies and cleanliness issues have been noted. Overall, Tasty Express may satisfy cravings for budget Chinese fare, but it may not meet the expectations of discerning diners.

What Anonym dislikes about Tasty Express:
I ordered food for my work team and it was not appetizing or visually appealing. The food was very dry and had a strange taste. It seemed like no effort was put into making it flavorful. The fried rice was dried out and had a long piece of black hair stuck to it. The orange chicken did not taste like orange chicken at all. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is not as salty or greasy as other steam table locations, but it lacks a bit of flavor. Despite this, I still enjoy the food.
The vegetarian fried rice is both affordable and delicious, with generous portions. It's not greasy and I would definitely order it again.
This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Some parts of the food were cold and lacked flavor. The Fried Dumpling appetizer was as hard as a rock and the Spring Roll was soggy. The Chicken Fried Rice was essentially just white rice with chicken and veggies, with nothing fried about it. Overall, very disappointing.
The food was average at best, lacking in flavor. The noodles were quite oily and hard to chew. The meat was overly soft and the customer service was abysmal - the server did not initiate any conversation. The atmosphere was untidy and cluttered, with a covered trash can at the entrance that appeared unused. I had to take my trash to a different bin at a nearby stop light. The cook appeared unclean, with dirty clothes, nails, and apron that seemed overdue for a wash. I would not recommend dining here as it is not worth the high prices. I spent $23 on food that was below standard. If you haven't been here before, I suggest skipping it altogether.
I was looking for a fast lunch option and decided to try the broccoli beef, which was good but served cold. The rest of the meal was satisfactory for the price of $9.99, which included one entree and one side dish. There was no soup or cookie offered, but overall it was a convenient and simple lunch choice.
