I used to come here often out of convenience, but this is one of the worst experiences I've had. The staff is rude, inattentive, and unprofessional. They charge for any extra flavor or ingredient in a drink without informing customers. As a former barista myself, I know this is not standard practice. I was not happy that the server ignored my Starbucks reward and did not register it before I scanned it. Additionally, they were out of the drink I wanted.
The service at this restaurant is quick, the food and drinks are delicious, and the baristas are friendly. I appreciate the convenience of it being located in a Safeway. Additionally, they have a seating area where you can study or work. On certain days, they also offer samples.
Surprise, the secret ingredient is... sugar! Vegetarian choices include sugar and coffee. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with plant-based milks.
I waited more than 10 minutes but no one still here to serve me
This Starbucks is talked into the north east corner of Safeway. You access it from inside the grocery store. Nonetheless it has a decent sized seating area and the normal Starbucks products. They also sell mugs and water bottles, and you could always grab something from the Safeway deli and eat over here as well.
