The pizza was cooked to perfection, with a slightly crunchy texture and delightful crispy edges, featuring the ideal wrinkles and cracks. The cheese was perfectly melted, almost as if it had been broiled at the end—wonderful, and not at all runny or stringy. The Roma tomatoes and toppings complemented each other beautifully, and the homemade pesto was the cherry on top. This was, without a doubt, the best slice of cl... View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Pizzahhh!:
Tried going here for a quick bite while running to class. Poor service. Asked what they had that was ready to go and was told #1 and #2. When I asked for #1, the guy said he didn't have any ready. Attempted to order something else and was told that I should probably go somewhere else. Would like to think that maybe he was just having a bad day, but truly lost for words... View all feedback.

The laid-back libertarian messages found all around this place might throw some off, but it’s one of the best pizza spots in Berkeley and is unfortunately underappreciated. The thin crust pizza is very authentic and truly delicious. The daily specials are fantastic—today, they even have an entire cake! The crowd is always diverse and engaging, making conversations worthwhile. The only downside is watching the chaotic crowd inexplicably gather near the subway above the dining area while you wait for your pizza in what is often an empty space.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, thanks to the attentive service from a staff member who's been in the business for years. The place really shines when it comes to toppings and perfectly crispy crusts. However, the true standout here is the sandwiches. With delectable ingredients like goat cheese, fresh salad leaves, sausage, and artichokes, they're a must-try. The sandwiches seem to capture the bittersweet essence of the nearby subway station, making them worth a visit for anyone who appreciates great food.

Great goat cheese sandwich! I enjoyed a casual political discussion with the superior cashier! Fun little pizza fuge well wait 15 minutes.

This pizza uses quality toppings and has a unique flavor to it. I love how close it is to campus.

Nestled near the Cal Berkeley campus, this hole-in-the-wall pizza joint serves up some of the best classic Italian pizzas around. Known for its authentically thin crust and perfectly melted cheese, the menu features unique toppings and delightful daily specials. Despite a few reports of inconsistent service, the overall experience is enriched by a diverse and engaging crowd. The sandwiches, boasting fresh and flavorful ingredients, are also a must-try. While the vibrant atmosphere can be disrupted by the neighboring subway traffic, this spot remains a hidden gem, attracting those seeking delicious and dependable fare.

The pizza was cooked to perfection, with a slight crunch and a delightful crispness on the edges. It had the ideal folds and cracks. The cheese was impeccably melted, almost as if it were broiled at the end—wonderful, with no runniness or stringiness. The Roma tomatoes and toppings all complemented each other beautifully, and the homemade pesto really tied everything together. This is hands down the BEST slice of classic Italian-style pizza I’ve had in Berkeley.

Despite the overwhelming libertarian slogans that cover nearly every surface, this is one of the top pizza spots in Berkeley and deserves more recognition. The thin crust is incredibly authentic and delicious. Be sure to try their daily specials – you won’t regret ordering a whole pizza! The patrons are always intriguing and fun to chat with. The main downside is having to endure the uncultured crowd as they inexplicably flood into the subway across the food court while you wait for your pizza in a usually quiet space.

The service here is exceptional, thanks to a staff member who has years of experience. The restaurant truly shines with its array of toppings and wonderfully crispy crusts. However, the real standout is the sandwiches. With ingredients like goat cheese, fresh salad leaves, cold cured meats, and artichokes, these sandwiches far surpass the limited offerings from the Subway next door. Anyone who appreciates good food should definitely give them a try.
