Reviews - Peet's Coffee
Reviews summary
Nestled conveniently near the campus, this restaurant appeals to patrons with its inviting atmosphere and free wifi. However, visitors have voiced concerns regarding the quality of coffee, often described as stale and disappointing. Customer service also suffers, with reports of rude staff members and inadequate seating arrangements. Despite these drawbacks, the food, particularly pastries, garners praise for freshness and flavor. The limited drink selection and small counter space create a feeling of inconvenience, and anecdotal notes suggest a possible confusion about the menu offerings. While the location is promising, substantial improvements are needed to enhance the overall experience.

Wanted to get a cup of hot water and the guy behind the counter shook his head no. I said to him can I purchase a cup of hot water. He said they don't do that. I left the place and thought that maybe they didn't want to get confused with Starbucks. Freewifi is a plus. Thank you
Im not sure how, but the coffee here is terrible. I thought maybe it was just a bad day so I tried twice more. The coffee tastes like they are reusing their grinds. Sucks ?cause the location is good and all the other coffee shops are closed for covid in theafternoon.
Staff is always welcoming. They ask if you need help with the many drinks to pick from. They have a smoothie bar too they are good if your not a coffee drinker. They do get rushes as well its coffee and its close to campus. Very small not huge on seatinginside or out like many other peets. Coffee is hot and fresh made to your satisfaction.
Although it is not an official Peet's Coffee location, this cafe is situated within the Dining Commons, resulting in higher prices for those using meal points. Service can be slow even when there are no lines, and the rush during lunch and dinner times can cause delays for students trying to make it to their classes on time.

The attitude of the staff at the counter was so bad. Seating so far from counter and getting order. And said 'I can 't hear you ' with sigh. Why don 't you come closer? Or stand
I would not recommend spending any money at this restaurant. The coffee is subpar and the pancakes are served cold.

This is my favorite local bar to go to; the DJs play relaxing music and there is never a long wait for a freshly pressed Greyhound cocktail! They also serve Peet's Coffee.

I'm not sure how, but the coffee at this restaurant is really bad. I thought maybe it was just a bad day, so I tried it two more times. The coffee tastes like they are using old grounds. It's disappointing because the location is great, and all the other coffee shops are closed in the afternoon due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They offer to help you choose from the variety of drinks available. They also have a smoothie bar which is great if you're not a coffee drinker. They can get busy at times because of their close proximity to campus. The seating area is small, both inside and outside, unlike many other Peets locations. The coffee is always hot and freshly made to your liking.
I asked for a cup of hot water, but the man behind the counter shook his head. I suggested I could purchase a cup, but he informed me they did not offer it. I left wondering if they didn't want to be bothered. On the bright side, the free wifi was a nice touch. Thank you.
This coffee house chain started locally, so we love to continue to patronize them, as well as buy their coffee beans. Always good.
