The food at Nikko Sushi was tasty, but the service left something to be desired. My server seemed distant and made me feel hurried. During my meal, she asked if I wanted to order more, which made me feel like I was just taking up space. On top of that, flies were buzzing around my table, making it hard to fully enjoy my meal as I kept shooing them away. Thankfully, none ended up in my food. While the sushi was excellent, the overall dining experience was less than stellar.
The sushi at Nikko Sushi is outstanding, featuring fresh, high-quality fish and a wide selection of tasty rolls. However, during my recent visit, the service fell short. The waitress appeared inexperienced and responded rudely when I requested two extra glasses to share wine with my friends, despite them showing their IDs. Customer service should always be a priority, even in situations of disagreement. I expect staff to remain patient and professional, which was unfortunately missing this time.
Best sushi place in berkeley! as a person who visited japan much, this reminds me of the sushi places there, and their sashimis are really fresh. would recommend the chirashi here.
