The beer selection is fantastic, and the cider on tap is quite good as well. The food was excellent—definitely try the lamb burger, arugula salad, and garlic fries! What Kenna Hermann dislikes about Moxy:
It's ok! The food isn't great, but it's bar food. It's to be expected. They have vegan and gluten-free options. I've been several times. I don't love it. It's fine. If I couldn't walk here from home, I probably wouldn't return. Nothing special. Not bad though! Just mediocre. You can sit outside. There's a ramp for accessibility. Some of the bartenders are good. One of them isn't. Fun, right? View all feedback.

As for my credentials, I worked as a deli chef and have spent countless hours watching shows like Hell's Kitchen where Gordon Ramsay attempts to revive failing restaurants. The proof is in the picture: the sad, misshapen burger patty looked like it had either been pressed too hard or that the kitchen just didn’t care. I ordered a cheeseburger and was disappointed to receive just half a slice of cheese—literally a triangle piece that wasn’t even melted. The condiments were heartbreakingly sparse, with one tiny slice of tomato, a single ring of red onion, one measly pickle, and a decent leaf of iceberg lettuce. These are basic toppings! How much could a few more pickles or a slice of tomato possibly cost? It feels like they either don’t know how to prepare a proper burger, are trying to save money due to financial struggles, or they simply mismanaged their inventory and ran out of essential items in the kitchen. But that can't be the case, considering Safeway is open 24 hours.
I drove past this place for years without considering it. However, after visiting a few times, I now have a long list of things I love about it: a spacious parking lot, plenty of seating, and it's never overly crowded. The food is fantastic! We enjoyed the brats, lamb burger, veggie burger, onion rings, and fried pickles. The beer selection is impressive, and you can find almost anything you like, including a delicious guava cider that we may have ordered several rounds of. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and humorous. If you're looking for a great meal without the hassle of searching for parking, plus a charming outdoor seating area, this is the place to go.
The food was mediocre, but the beer was decent. The celery was old and brown, and the Buffalo wings were incredibly small. What a disappointment!
I drove by Moxy for awhile before I convinced my guy that we needed to try it out for Happy Hour, which is 4pm 7pm Everyday! They also have taco Tuesdays with $1.50 tacos all night. We started coming in when the Warriors were in the NBA playoffs, they offer deals when the game is on including food and beer specials. We quickly starting coming regularly and had my sister meet up with us to watch the game. They have an excellent selection of draft beer and in bottles. Not of that domestic bud or coors **** (sorry, no likey). They do not have a full bar, beer and wine only. The patio is a nice place to hang out and they have shaded and sunny areas. We have had the tacos, the parmesan fries, the garlic fries, the black and blue burger and the chili and it has all been good and a great price for the quality. The burgers are big, so I highly suggest sharing with a side salad or fries. Nice summer time place for beer lovers and sports fans looking for a low key spot.
Moxy is a cool little beer garden/trailer with a large patio setup not too far from Ashby BART for those that like to BART and drink. They have a parking lot if you end up driving here, which means you don 't have to waste time finding parking in the neighborhood. The heat lamps outside, ensure you stay cozy on those cool Bay Area evenings. We came here solely for the Vegan cauliflower Buffalo Wings, and those did not disappoint. Crispy, crunchy outside texture with a perfectly cooked cauli-interior. The Buffalo sauce claimed to be Frank 's, yet it had very little burn. I 'm a hot sauce fanatic, so I can see it just being me wanting more of the fiyah. However, when my babygirl is able to stomach more than a nibble, I know the sauce isn 't as hot as you get elsewhere. Although she mostly stuck to eating the carrots and celery that comes on the side. The cauliflower is still full of flavor and highly recommended if it weren 't for the cost $8, and the fact they have the moxy to include a non-Vegan buttermilk dressing with the Vegan labeled wings . Although it is appreciated that they mention it being Vegetarian in the description. C 'mon, Just Mayo is just so damn easy to turn into delicious, creamy ranch dressing. On the beer front, there wasn 't too much creativity in their selections. I looked at the beer menu and realized I have had 11 of the 14 beers on tap. I 'm not sure if this speaks to me having drank too much beer, or Moxy not thinking outside the box when it comes to sourcing new suds. I 'm going with the latter on that one. This place has potential, and I 'm sure I 'll be back if they ever get a Vegan dressing to go with their tasty Vegan cauliflower bites.

The beer selection is brilliant and the apple wine they have on tap is good. The food was great. Try the lambburger, the Arugula salad or the garlic friries. The service is really great, and our server was very nice. It was busy (we went on a Friday night, so of course it was), and the kitchen was supported, but our server almost immediately let us know after we had set ourselves, and we knew it would take a while to get our food. We thought it was worth waiting. We liked this place very much. We're new to the area, so we wanted to try something new... this place was a really great choice.
Wilson! We found Wilson from Castaway... fun atmosphere. Good selection of beers on ****. Friendly bartender.
The food and service here is top notch. The lambburgers and garlic fries are my favorite. The atmosphere has a friendly neighborhood feeling. The terrace is also beautiful on a hot day. I love watching sports and a cold beer here on the big screen TV.
I love this pub. You have some killers chili with homemade dense cheese bread that is amazing. Always a fantastic selection of beers on **** and they are open late for the area. Prices are acceptable and the outside seats are very pleasant. They occasionally have sports on the TVs, so if there is a big game, people can cheer etc.
This is a really comfortable neighborhood spot for burgers, drinks, and the occasional sporting event. It's not really a sports bar, but they'll break out some extra screens for big games. There is great outdoor seating as well as a small library of board games. The burgers are great, and they have a decent beer selection. The only real problem is that the service is slow. It only gets worse when it's packed for the Warriors games. If you're not in a rush, though, this place is great.
