Good food, pleasant service and small business owned. A more authentic, local, and cheaper alternative to the Chipotle right across the street. I mean who in their right mind is gonna pay 2.50 for guac? View all feedback.
Good prices and delicious, authentic Mexican food. Go here over Chipotle every time.
Yummy family owned restaurant. Tostadas were very tasty. Nice patio in back.

Great place for lunch! very inexpensive and great great authentic food- Outdoor seating and family owned. A staple of Berkeley .
I've been visiting La Palmita for over 15 years and absolutely love their burritos and the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. This place offers honest, home-cooked meals at their finest! Be cautious with other franchised Mexican restaurants; they're usually part of a corporation focused solely on profit and often cut corners to save money. I prefer to avoid that. La Palmita is a true mom-and-pop establishment, so there are no apps to download, e-coupons, or social media pages to like. They've maintained their location for so long due to their strong reputation for excellent food. Plus, they’re right next to my favorite store, HIDA TOOLS! Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
