I 've been going here since 1982. They 've always had the best commercially available pie the kind of food your weight loss diet says you shouldn 't eat but you do anyway because after just one taste you say, 'Oh, screw it. This is worth eating every fattening crumb. ' The veggie burgers, the lasagna, the salads, and all that stuff is just wonderful, tasty, and worth a trip.

This is my favorite lunch place in the gourmet ghetto. The food is fresh, wholesome and made with love. I'm serious, I can taste the love. I recommend the brown rice bowl with one of the fresh salads and peanut or tahini sauce. The menu changes daily based on seasonal product. However, they always have fresh sandwiches to go and hot lasagna and polenta. There are a few tables outside, but it's more of a to-go place. The customer area is very small. I recommend reviewing the menu before getting in line so that you can quickly place your order and make way for others.
