Incredible service, such sweet people and AMAZING FOOD. Super fresh and quality. Note that if you get a gyro wrap it's going to be pretty large. The baklava is also 12/10!
Jerusalem Organic Kitchen is near the end of the block. signage isn't large. small space available for eating outside or take out. food cooked to order. cash preferred. offerings: wraps, platters, grilled seafood, hot platters, salad, side dishes, burgers, soups. eats: combo shawarma platter (17.99) chicken lamb -pita bread and jerusalam salad interesting tastes, bread didn't have pocket. -hummus was amazing with an aromatic taste, spices unknown. -chicken lamb shawarma were moist, had yummy marinated flavors. -the tahini sauce creamy, the hot sauce had a kick. -rice pilaf wasn't dry, paired well with the meats. wasn't supposed to be here but was. (option of hummus or rice). 5 stars: the food was unique in it's regional variation. not the usual fare experienced in middle eastern cuisine. excellent food value. quick service. food ready in 5ish minutes. take outs: -food traveled reasonably well. -parking was easy on a sunday afternoon.
Tasty food and good prices. The falafel wrap is large enough to share if you're not too hungry. Or share it and get some side dishes. The tabouleh is remarkably good all parsley with a little bulghar, tomatoes, and cucumber. The French fries are large, golden brown, and crispy. They are generous if you ask for extra hot sauce. You should really ask for extra hot sauce! It's not too hot and has Harissa, making it a little smoky and quite addictive.
Quite possibly the worst Mediterranean food I’ve had. Not sure what people see in this place, but the babaganoush had a saccharin taste reminiscent of bad deli macaroni salad, the hummus was completely bland, likewise with the tabouli salad, which rested upon greens that suffered from more than a few of its family members being well past their sell date. Additionally, the hot sauce was also a victim of a sugary theme. Finally, while I get the convenience of using them, every utensil and container was made from plastic. I’d like to think that there are better alternatives than single use plastic products. Needless to say, I’ll never be visiting this place again.
