Was Omar at Ippudo Berkeley a mag?
Really delicious Food! My first time trying it and I was not disappointed. I tried many ramen places before and Ippudo is by far one of the best. The broth has a lot of flavor. I only wish they had a chicken substitute for the ramen but I understand authentic ramen is pork. I recommend the gyoza and the seasonal ramen. View all feedback.
What Lara T dislikes about Ippudo Berkeley:
I ordered the the Akamaru Midern Ramen, portion is not even enough for a kid, I asked for thick noodles but got the raw think one with 2 little pieces of pork, too pricey for the portion $19) wow! I also ordered Pork Bun and again one little bite of pork on a very soft bread and it was cold! The truffle friend was was far to be crunchy. Spent total of $60 for a kids meal. Won't be ordering from this place again. Supe... View all feedback.

The flavors are quite different from Ippudo in Japan, with the pork belly and noodles being much thinner, but it's still enjoyable.
I had some mazemen at this restaurant and really enjoyed it. The noodles were definitely the highlight—chewy and satisfying. While the dish's presentation wasn't the best and the corn felt out of place (it was tricky to eat the kernels with chopsticks in a pool of lard), the flavor was excellent. The service was also very friendly.
The vegetable ramen here is excellent, with three different options available on the menu. The service is quick, and the restrooms are very clean.
The restaurant’s ambiance is inviting, with a modern and cozy interior that sets the perfect tone for enjoying a meal.
**Restaurant Review: A Ramen Gem Worth Trying** At this ramen hotspot, diners are treated to a vibrant culinary experience with a wide selection of flavorful broths and toppings. Many patrons rave about the authentic taste and quality of the dishes, particularly the rich, flavorful ramen and delectable gyoza. While some have expressed disappointment with portion sizes and presentation, overall, the ambiance is welcoming, and service is attentive. Guests can enjoy quick service amid a lively decor. With locations in both Berkeley and New York, this restaurant is a must-visit for ramen enthusiasts looking for delicious food that captures the essence of authentic Japanese cuisine.

Delicious food with a wide selection of broths and toppings. The menu provides excellent descriptions of each dish, so you know exactly what to expect. The waitstaff is young and vibrant, always busy but still managing to serve the food promptly. This was my first experience at a ramen restaurant, and I definitely plan to return!
Great service and delicious food! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. Everything was served quickly. I even requested an extra soft-boiled egg, and it arrived promptly! Thank you, Ippudo!
There are only a couple of these locations in the United States, so if you find yourself in Berkeley or New York, you must visit IPPUDO! Their ramen is truly one-of-a-kind.
Chicken buns are delicious must try. I ordered the spicy ramen with wavy noodles kata and an egg. Highly recommend. Spicy, but the rich flavor still shined through. There is street parking across the street. I came on a Saturday at lunch and parking was not a problem.
The sauce on the chicken bun was delicious. Atmosphere was bustling and cozy. Waitstaff was quick and friendly. Not really a spot I’d like to linger, but maybe just because I dined alone. I got the Classic Ramen bowl as my main course. I couldn’t finish it. I also appreciated that they take note of how firm you’d like your ramen to come out! Very good price for the amount of food.

I ordered the Buns Medley (featuring pork, chicken, and shrimp), and they were all absolutely delicious! Each one came with its own perfect sauce that paired wonderfully—so good! I also tried the truffle fries, which were quite tasty and had a nice truffle flavor.
The ramen, specifically the KARAKA SPICY, is outstanding, and the OISHI KARA AGE is excellent as well. While the IPPUDO PORK BUN is likely fantastic when enjoyed at the restaurant, it doesn't hold up well for delivery, so I would suggest giving that a pass. Cheers!
