Guests appreciate the attentive service, even during busy times, with a staff ready to accommodate various needs. While the menu features delicious dishes—like the spicy shrimp, flavorful ravioli, and tasty salads—some diners note that portion sizes may not align with the prices, particularly for sandwiches. Nonetheless, the overall experience shines, highlighted by quality ingredients, a cozy ambiance, and thoughtful gestures, such as complimentary desserts for special occasions. Did I just get deceived by a sandwich? The moment the driver handed me the bag, I sensed something was off. The OMG sandwich was much lighter and smaller than I anticipated based on the pictures. With its epic appearance and the name "OMG," I expected this $18 sandwich to be nearly too big for one meal, especially coming from a place called "Heroic Italian." Unfortunately, there was nothing heroic or "OMG" about it; it was just a decent Italian sandwich—nothing remarkable. Given its size, it would be acceptable at a price point of $10-12, but the photos are definitely misleading.
The bottom half of the bread was extremely tough and difficult to chew. As a result, only half of the sandwich was enjoyable.
I found five ravioli to be insufficient for the price, although they were quite tasty.
The food was served incredibly quickly, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. If it hadn't been so cold outside, my friend and I would have loved to enjoy the beautiful patio. Overall, it was a delightful experience with wonderful people working that night. And a special mention to the tiramisu—it was amazing!
I really enjoy this casual Italian restaurant! The food is fantastic, especially the spicy shrimp. The staff is friendly, and the patio is amazing. I can't wait to return with friends to sample some of their wines.
