Was Arya N at Cream a mag?
I first started coming to this location almost 12 years ago as a freshman. Back then, the line would stretch down the block and an ice cream sandwich cost $2. Since then, there are more locations around the Bay Area and the price for the sandwich has tripled. I still enjoy getting their ice cream sandwiches whenever I'm in town. Coming back to CREAM always reminds me of those late nights when I'd stop by with my frie... View all feedback.
What George N dislikes about Cream:
Great customer service, BUT, the chocolate mint ice cream was grainy and awful. Please quality check your ice cream before putting it out there. We threw it away, but kept the yummy waffle cone. Also, the French vanilla needed more vanilla flavor. View all feedback.

Ok ice cream. Deceptive pricing. Purchased a sundae with a menu price of $8 posted. Was charged 12.50. Their buy on get one free deal on pints also comes with a $2 extra charge which is not on their displayed menu.
Not from the area so had to try this while I was here. Super yummy, would go again!

The best cookie gelato sandwiches in the world! The fresh and amazing chocolate chip cookie paired with divine caramel gelato is pure heaven.
This ice cream is absolutely delicious! #icecreamislife! My new favorite flavor is green tea ice cream topped with snickerdoodle, macadamia nut cookies, and peanuts.
Oh. My.Gawd. Soooo yummy. The line is always there, but it is soooo worth the wait!

Super creamy delicious ice cream, fresh-baked cookies other tasty carb-based morsels (which I recommend one does not bother trying to abstain from), friendly staff... what's not to like?Well- when the line gets *super* long night during our hotter late summer/early fall months, ie. when the students return, THAT kind of sucks... But other than that, it's A !Don't miss the pre-packed pints in the fridge if you are just there for ice cream to bring home.Lastly, the confetti sugar/butter cookies are the best IMHO, but in truth they're *all* good and you can't go wrong.
There's a wide variety of ice cream sandwich magic at CREAM. I usually go for a dairy-free scoop between two sugar cookies, the whole thing rolled in Oreos or some other crunchy topping. A treat is less than $10, and you can certainly share it with another person, if that's your thing. It's more than possible to eat by yourself, too, before it melts. There's something so immediate and cheerful about getting a freshly-made ice cream sandwich in a little paper bag, eating it with your fingers or a spoon or a companion, walking around and trying to beat the clock of high-quality melting ice cream. One can get their treat(s) in a box, too, but in my opinion, it's a lot more fun to live in the moment. I've bought soft cookies without ice cream here, as well. Service is solidly alright, and lines sometimes form, which is all in all about as good as it gets during these pandemic days.
The area is adorable here, it's right in the heart of Berkeley and you can feel it, lots of students walking around and in branded gear, it gives it a certain aesthetic. We came on a cold night but there was still a line! The staff was friendly and lets you try several different flavors, i went with the brownie sandwich (they cut a brownie in half and put ice cream in the center) with churro flavored ice cream which I've actually not seen too often. It was yummy, The brownie has a cakey texture, could have been a little more solid to me but the flavors were all there. My boyfriend had the birthday cake ice cream with 1 cookie, it would have been 5 stars if not for them putting the cookie on the bottom of the cup and the ice cream on top the ice cream immediately freezes the cookie and u can't cut it with your plastic spoon to get bites in with every scoop of ice cream. Just cut it in half and stick it in either side of the cup! Would make for a better photo too. Otherwise all the flavors were there, their birthday cake ice cream was rich and had sprinkles in it, loved the toppings. I'd go back though! Thanks.
A very busy happenin place with some seriously hard working staff. I came in on a busy weekend night and there was a line out the door which is pretty regular I guess for CREAM . They didn 't have Rocky Road for whatever reason. There cones are...the best I 've ever tasted. So that was nice. Will call next time to make sure they have what I want. :
Cookies were nice Gooey and appropriately sweet. The ice cream was also nice good cookies and cream flavor but most impressed with the consistency when scooping and spreading even when very cold.Excellent for a cookie ice cream sandwich. The 3 stars come from a profane hand scribed note on the bottom of the lid.Stick with It’s Its…Not only are they the original and “A San Francisco tradition” they are above all, a family friendly treat..

Was it delicious? Yes. Was I disappointed that vegan options meant option ? Very. Go to curbside creamery, instead.
Visited cream the other day, after a quick moving line, made it up to the counter and ordered the vegan option ice cream sandwich. When I went, I had several vegan cookie options (well labeled) and only one vegan ice cream option. While I did read on TripAdvisor that other times vegans went, there had been two (Cherry Garcia and mint Chocolate chip), I just had cherry garcia. The cookies were good. The ice cream was good. The combination was kind of weird. They had too weird of cookie flavors and too weird of ice cream flavor that didn't really match. Even when thinking about the mint choco chip, the combinations would've been weird. They either need plainer cookies, or plainer ice cream. One weird is good, two weirds was too much. Overall, very happy they even have a vegan option (though this is Berk on Telegraph). The vegan option is 3.49, still reasonable for a vegan cookie sandwich!
Great customer service. I had a soy edible milkshake with one of the banana chocolate cookies (not taste like banane I am glad) on the inside crumbling. it was so delicious.
Large vegan mint chip egg. two vegan aromen offered, along with vegan cookies. cones are not vegan.
