I later found out that the owner is also from Chengdu—and they’re incredibly kind and always happy to offer great recommendations. I highly recommend trying the Guokui 锅盔 and pig intestine glass noodles 肥肠粉 —both are classic Chengdu specialties and absolutely delicious.
