This Brazilian restaurant offers a taste of home with a variety of grocery items and tasty dishes. The açaí smoothie may have been a miss, but the Brazilian cheese bread was a hit. The steak sandwich was flavorful and filling, with garlic yucca fries to match. This joint is known for its excellent texture, assembly, and friendly staff. The veggie sandwich stands out as a top favorite, and the Pao de queijo options are a must-try. While seating may be limited and prices a bit high, the delicious food and welcoming service make it worth a visit for a taste of Brazil in Albany.
The food at this restaurant is incredible. It surpassed my high expectations based on previous experiences with Brazilian cuisine. The cheese bread, empanadas, and Zilantro sauce were all delicious.
My açaí smoothie was really disappointing. The peanut butter tasted like a cheap brand, not the quality I was hoping for, and there was way too much of it. It felt like there was at least half a cup, if not more, which was excessive. There were also an overwhelming amount of hemp seeds, making it difficult to eat without my spoon overflowing. The blueberries seemed like they had been previously frozen and were not fresh. My husband ordered his açaí bowl with honey instead of peanut butter, but it still had peanut butter in it. It's important to be cautious if you have allergies. We also tried the Brazilian cheese bread, which was tasty, but they accidentally gave us the Jalapeño flavor instead of garlic.
I am a huge fan of Pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread), so I was thrilled to discover this place. They not only offer freshly baked cheese bread, but also frozen ones that I can take home and enjoy anytime I want! I used to make it myself before finding this gem. They also have sandwiches made with the cheese bread, which is gluten-free. The chewy texture of the bread pairs perfectly with the fillings in the sandwiches. If you're a fan of Pao de queijo, I highly recommend giving this place a try. A big thank you to Desirre, Karla, and the other lady (whose name I forgot to ask) for the great service. I will definitely be coming back soon!
