It’s my second time in and was rather disappointed. The fried egg sandwich is amazing but today it took an hour and wassquished, making a sticky yolky mess out of the bread. I’m not sure what happened today but I hope it’s not always like this.
I think this is the best (all around) cafe I've ever been to. The food and coffee are amazing and the environment is great.
The food felt a little overpriced. The biscuit was delicious, but the sandwiches were small, and the soup was just average. The scones were decent as well. I didn’t order any drinks. Update August 2023: They still don’t have WiFi!

This was a very generously sized sandwich, that came witha side salad. The turkey was roasted with flavorful herbs, and addition of tomato wasso worth it.
I split the BLTA with my daughter, but I gave her all of the side salad. We both enjoyed the generous portion of avocado on our sandwich. We also shared the buttery Biscuit with honey. Yummy!
The portion size is quite small for the price, but the salad is enjoyable and has great flavor.
The turkey bacon sandwich was fantastic! The Chocolate Chunk Fleur De Sel Cookie is a divine treat from the baking gods.

Was invited to a mid-morning coffee get-together with current and past workers. From the menu board and their website, it 's clear that this place knows what they 're doing. It 's also a good sign that there were few, if any, free seats inside, 'cosothers must like the place, right? So, we sat outside and very pleasant it was too. I was grateful that the side street isnorth-facing, so the sun was hidden behind the coffee shop building. For those of us concerned with getting bald headssunburned, these are the kind of things we look for. The coffee was good....I 'd like to find out who roasts it so that I canbuy their beans at some point.
Love the food options and ambiance of this corner cafe! The poached egg sandwich was just what I was looking for but the avocado toast and chai latte were the stars of this breakfast. The avocado toast has a delicious layer of roasted garlic and the chailatte comes in a small bowl with cinnamon on top. I will be coming back for more!
The food at this restaurant was quite tasty, but the service left much to be desired. Half of our order arrived promptly within 15 minutes, but we waited another 15 minutes for the rest without receiving anything. We eventually went inside to check on our food, only to find out that it hadn't even been started. It took an additional 15 minutes before we finally got our complete order. Overall, I would suggest choosing takeout instead of dining in for a more enjoyable experience.
I visited this restaurant last night around 6 PM to meet someone, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly staff. Three young women greeted me with smiles and were incredibly welcoming to all the families arriving, showering attention on their babies and pets. It was so heartwarming that it nearly brought tears to my eyes; I really didn't want to leave. The food is all homemade from scratch, and I particularly loved the Caesar salad, cheddar biscuits, scones, soups, tea, and especially the soft serve Strauss cones. I'm a big fan of this place and truly consider it a neighborhood gem.

Asked for decaf but I don't think they got it right. I have a medical condition and my heart was racing for the rest of the day. Could have been dangerous. Please train your staff better. They have excellent biscuits, and the rest of the food is pretty good too. Coffee is average. Atmosphere is pretty chaotic and tables are often dirty. No wifi. Still one of the better cafes in the area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
The best sausage breakfast biscuit I've had in the bay. Every piece of that biscuit was good. The homemade sausage patty and the soft scrambled egg beautifully blended with the cheese! All of it harmoniously well seasoned. Will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
