What Torrey O'Conner doesn't like about Ajanta:
Ajanta has long been one of our favorites, but I feel that some of the change since Mr. Moorjani left have not been for the better. We did like the separate servings of rice and spinach. But the goat was fatty, boney and tough.I didn't like having to pack up the leftovers at the table. It was not in keeping with your generally good service View all feedback. What Lovesfood likes about Ajanta:
Wonderful, friendly service. We visited this restaurant with our son after almost 20 years- its still warm, friendly and very good. Loved the homemade chutney, the samosas, fish curry, lamb curry, eggplant. Good level of spice and quantity. Great experience! View all feedback.

read moreAjanta, a long-standing favorite for many, has experienced some changes since Mr. Moorjani's departure. While some appreciated the separate servings of rice and spinach, others found the goat meat to be fatty and tough. There were mixed reviews on the overall service, with some feeling that it did not meet the usual standards. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant were praised, along with the bread and raita. However, some main courses failed to impress, and the staff were not always helpful with suggestions or managing spice levels. Despite some shortcomings, many diners continue to enjoy Ajanta for its fantastic food and great service, making it a go-to Indian restaurant in the area.
We were attracted by Ajanta's slightly unique menu (a few items were influenced by Afghan cuisine), and went there for our anniversary. The Alu Tikki, Machi Dil...
