Started was foie gras,... read more Went there to celebrate the end of my pelerinage for this year. Listened to the recommendations on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. Started was foie gras, then a nice steak and finally an apple tarte with calvados. All the food was good and there was...even a small amuse gueule from the kitchen. Also a nice bottle of local wine for a real reasonable price. Service is good, swift and efficient. They hardly spoke any english, but with my limited french and their limited english we managed. Would definitely go there again. also the location is nice, one can enjoy ones wine and just watch people passing by.

We arrived at 7pm (when it opens) and were lucky to get a table for two as all other tables were reserved. It was a hot evening so we sat outside....The restaurant offers starter, main and dessert for €22 which is incredible value, especially compared to other restaurants in the area. The service was unbelievably quick and the waiter spoke good English. The food was delicious. I ordered the fillet of beef and it wa so tender. The focaccia starter and mousse dessert also really nice. The starter and the main came with a free basket of bread which was highly commendable. We would return and recommend this place.
