Six of us ate in this restaurant on August 12. We were 3 adults and 3 children. The children's menu was quite normal, but had a nice piece of fish instead of the usual ham or Steak Hache. My husband had the faux filet and it looked and tasted nice. He'd like more salad. My son had the hamburger and he liked it too. All diners agreed that the chips/ries were fantastic. I chose the filet mignon that was not pleasant at all. It was extremely dry with a paste from Chorizo above, which was also dried out. A strange vegetable assortment and two triangles of what Tortilla seemed to be were also in the plate. I could really eat it. When this was noticed by the waiter, we got one of our deserts as compensation that was good. Still, I had no dinner, that was disappointing. Deserts were fine, only the question was that they were served disappointingly in drinking glasses, so that the presentation could be improved. Everything in an acceptable average experience. Would we come back? Maybe!
Viewing the Odet river and the sea, a classic simple but excellent restaurant in Benodet. Terrace is great and inside typical brasserie decoration. The food is consistently good and service very friendly. Go to drinks to see the sunset! Reservation must be a spark can be a problem in July and August.
A recent visit to Benodet has booked a booking for dinner on the terrace. Beautiful menu choice, each of us had the 2 courses that were delicious, well presented and good value. Started with an aperitif and wash the meal with a carafe of the house red, which was good. It was a pretty blowing evening with some rain, but we were dressed among the big parasols with the terrace heaters and it was very pleasant. Nice friendly service.
Good selection in the menu. good food, well presented. friendly and helpful staff. clean with modern decor. well recommended.
